Children and the games
The games collect no personal data about children. There are no accounts, no ads and no trackers inside the games.
Progress (stars, finished islands) is saved in the browser on the device. It never leaves the device. Clearing browser data removes it.
The island games and Read It! can ask for the microphone so a child can say or read a word. In the "Say it" and "Read it" steps the game only measures whether a voice is present, then praises the child and moves on. It does not record or store audio. Where a game uses the browser's own speech recognition, the browser maker may process the audio under its own privacy policy. A parent can switch the microphone off in the Parent Zone, and a child can play without it.
This website
We count visits with privacy-friendly analytics that do not use cookies and do not identify visitors. We use this to learn which pages help parents.
We use one cookie, set only when you enter an activation code, to remember that this device is unlocked. It contains no personal data.
Payments and orders
Card and PayPal payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which sells the access to you and handles payment details and tax. We never see your card number.
For bank transfers we keep your email, the optional name you give, the order code and the amount, to send your activation code and to keep accounting records.
Your choices
If you use the contact form, we save your name, email, order code (if given) and message in a Google Sheet that belongs to us, and use them only to reply. Google processes this data for us.
Write to us to see or delete the details we hold. We may keep what the law requires us to keep for accounting.
We do not sell data and we do not send marketing email unless you ask for it.
